All of this means that you can be totally confident when you turn to us.

Here’s a quick look at our two main products, rigid electrical conduit and PullEase electrical metallic tubing

Rigid Electrical Aluminum Conduit

No matter the size of conduit you may need, the chances are good you’ll find it at American Conduit. We have sizes ranging from as little as a half an inch all the way up to 6 inches in diameter. Rigid aluminum conduit offers a lot of advantages versus aluminum.  It’s much lighter in weight, it’s more cost effective, and it’s more durable.

PullEase Electrical Metallic Tubing

You might not just be looking for rigid aluminum electrical conduit. Your project might call for electrical metallic tubing as well. This is another area where we can help. Our PullEase EMT is also a better choice than steel. It’s extremely easy to cut and bend without needing any special tools. This isn’t always the case with steel. Often times, you’ll need to purchase equipment to cut it. You won’t have to worry about that with aluminum EMT. You can use the tools you already have.

Other Advantages of Aluminum Over Steel

While we might be biased, we are convinced aluminum is the superior choice over steel in each and every application. When you make the switch, you’ll see why. These are just a few of the reasons to consider changing from steel to aluminum conduit.

  • Unlike steel, aluminum won’t degrade over time due to rust or corrosion. Steel can also be extremely difficult when it comes to de-coupling. Aluminum doesn’t present any of those hassles.
  • Even though aluminum is much lighter, that doesn’t mean you’ll be sacrificing durability. We use special alloys that make our aluminum just as strong as steel.
  • Since a 10-foot length of aluminum conduit only weighs about 33 pounds, you won’t need to devote nearly as many workers to an installation. The same length of steel conduit is about 100 pounds.
