Raceway Conduit – A Quick Primer
A “raceway” is electrical conduit that provides a pathway for wiring and cables. They protect them from a wide range of potential hazards, including corrosion, moisture, heat, accidental impacts, cold and more.

- Even though PullEase comes with a much lower price tag than steel, it’s strength is unsurpassed. It’s much easier to maneuver into place during an installation, and can also be fabricated much easier in the field. Again, you don’t need special tools to cut PullEase. That’s not the case with steel.
- There are many instances where sensitive electronics will be subjected to electromagnetic interference from the wires and cables that run through conduit. With steel, that can be an issue. With aluminum, it won’t be a problem. Aluminum blocks that interference, keeping your equipment safe in the process.
- Maybe the most surprising (to some) advantage offered by PullEase is durability. Aluminum has a special coating of aluminum oxide that protects it from corrosion and rust. Steel does not. The only way it can last is if it’s coated with expensive materials.
