You’ve probably worked with several aluminum EMT & conduit suppliers in Atlanta, GA before. But American Conduit is the only one that can offer PullEase™ aluminum EMT. We designed PullEase™ make pulling wire easier and more efficient than ever. This patented design dramatically reduces internal resistance and eliminates the need for messy lubrication. You’ll complete installations faster than ever before, and your workers won’t have to worry about hurting themselves lugging around heavy steel conduit – since PullEase™ is less than half the weight of steel.

A Revolutionary Alternative

Aluminum EMT & Conduit Suppliers Atlanta, GAWe offer PullEase™ in sizes ranging from a half an inch all the way up to four inches. Just like steel EMT, PullEase™ is UL listed. It also has the same federal spec and ANSI approvals. Unlike steel, PullEase™ aluminum EMT is completely recyclable. It’s also non-magnetic, so it will help protect your sensitive electronic equipment from potentially damaging interference from wires and cables.

PullEase™ EMT can also help your company enjoy significant labor savings. Since it’s so lightweight, it only takes one worker to carry PullEase™ EMT and install it. With steel, you might need two, or even three workers to perform the same task. You could see as much as a 75 percent savings on your labor costs.

Using PullEase™ EMT

When using PullEase™ EMT, make sure you follow all code requirements. Not only does PullEase™ meet the ANSI C80.5 standard, it’s also UL 797A listed. Here are just a few guidelines to keep in mind when using this product.

  • Fittings – You can use both die cast and steel fittings with PullEase™ EMT per UL 514B. If you would like more information, please refer to NEC 358.14.
  • Cutting – One of the biggest advantages of PullEase™ EMT is that you don’t need any special tools to get easy, quick cuts. You can use the tools you very likely already have on hand.
  • Fishing – If you’re using smaller diameters, never use flat steel fishing tools. You should only use round fish tapes made from fiberglass.
  • Pulling and bending – It might take your workers a little bit of time to adjust to pulling wires through PullEase™, since they won’t be used to the light weight. There will be some significant differences regarding how they feed wire through the product. Also, they’ll need to adjust to the ease with which they can bend it. Because PullEase™ has a patented ridged design, workers may need to be reminded that they don’t need to apply lubrication.

It won’t emit any toxic fumes or any other type of harmful substances. Our RMC is also UL6A listed, which is equivalent to the UL6 standard for steel.
