There are quite a few companies that supply aluminum electrical conduit pipes, but none of them are like American Conduit. We’re part of the leading aluminum extruder on the planet, Hydro. That gives us access to a virtually unlimited supply of the strongest aluminum available – one million pounds. We also have a network of warehouses and distributors that stretches across the nation. Not only will we always have the conduit you need, we’ll also get it to you when you need it the most. You won’t ever have to deal with frustrating downtime because your supplier ran out.

Why You Should Work With American Conduit

Aluminum Electrical Conduit PipesNot only do we have the best aluminum conduit available, we also have an unmatched commitment to customer satisfaction. You might not have purchased conduit in the past. As a result, you might not be sure exactly what diameter you’ll need for your specific application. That won’t be a problem when you work with us. An American Conduit representative will not only be more than happy to answer whatever questions you may have, you can also rest assured those answers will be correct.

PullEase EMT

Even though we’ve been in business for more than 40 years, we’ve never rested on our laurels – and we never will. We’re always looking for ways to improve our products, as well as introducing new ones to the market.

The aptly-named PullEase is an example of our innovation. Before PullEase, anyone using EMT (electrical metallic tubing) would have to lubricate the inside of the conduit. PullEase makes that a thing of the past. In addition, it’s very easy to bend and cut without needing any special tools. You can use what you already have on hand.

In addition to PullEase, we also carry aluminum rigid metal conduit (RMC) – both come in a wide range of diameters. You can find PullEase in diameters from a half an inch to 6 inches, and RMC in diameters from a half an inch to 4 inches.

Meeting the Most Stringent Industry Standards

American Conduit PullEase and RMC are made to the same rigorous standards as steel. Our products meet the requirements of ANSI C80.5, UL-6A, Federal Spec WW-C 540C, Canada’s C22.2 No. 45 and others. Our RMC can be used in conjunction with either aluminum or galvanized fittings, per the requirements of NEC 344.10(A).

All of our products are superior to steel in many different areas. Even though our conduit is only a third the weight of steel, it’s just as strong. This is possible because we treat our aluminum with 6000 series alloys. The lightweight nature of aluminum makes it much easier to install as well. It will only take one worker to install aluminum conduit, while it could require two or more to install steel.

Durability is yet another reason to always choose aluminum over steel. Unless it’s coated with a very expensive material, steel conduit will ultimately degrade due to corrosion or rust. Aluminum won’t degrade because it has a natural protective coating.

This is just a brief look at why you should always use aluminum electrical conduit pipes – and you should always purchase them from American Conduit. If you would like more information, please use our convenient online contact form or give us a call at 1-800-334-6825.
