Aluminum Conduit & EMT Suppliers AlabamaWhen you’ve been around for more than 35 years, that means you must be doing something right. American Conduit has lasted so long because we know how to treat our clients. They always expect us to deliver high-quality conduit, and to be there to answer their questions at all times. We’ve earned a lot of trust as a result. We would love the opportunity to earn your trust – and your continued business – as well.

American Conduit offers two main products, and both in a wide range of diameters and lengths. Our PullEase EMT (electrical metallic tubing) comes in diameters from a half an inch to four inches, while our RMC (rigid metal conduit) is available in widths from a half inch to six inches. In addition, we offer couplings and elbows as well, providing everything you need for your conduit installation. They also come in a wide variety of sizes.

Aluminum EMT

PullEase EMT from American Conduit is thin-walled, unthreaded tubing. If you want to get technical, the correct term is actually “tubing,” not conduit.

But it doesn’t really matter a whole lot what you call it – our PullEase EMT is incredibly effective. It will protect wiring and cables from chemicals and moisture. It will even protect wiring from pests that like to chew through wiring, causing costly short-circuits in the process.

As the name implies, PullEase makes it very easy to pull wiring, without the need for any sort of lubrication. The secret is in the ridged design that reduces surface friction. As a result, you’ll be able to perform installations much faster than normal. EMT uses clamp-style fittings that easily slide onto the tubing, and these fittings are secured with setscrews. You’ll find PullEase EMT in not just commercial settings, but also challenging industrial environments as well.

Another reason PullEase EMT is so popular is that it’s very easy to cut, and very easy to bend. You’ll already have everything you need – you won’t have to worry about buying any special cutting tools.

Aluminum RMC

RMC, on the other hand, is thicker than PullEase EMT. You join different sections of RMC by using screw-in connectors. You’ll also find RMC in several different types of industrial and commercial applications. It does a fantastic job of holding up against extreme temperatures, and will also protect delicate wires and cables from accidental impacts.

Whichever type of conduit you choose – PullEase EMT or RMC – you’ll experience significant cost savings by switching to aluminum from steel. In fact, you’ll save as much as 60 percent per pound.
